The MapQuest webapp was running on legacy tech that had not been updated in over a decade. A team was put together to rewrite the original AngularJS application in React using current technologies and update the design in the process.
I worked as part of a team of 5 developers and 1 designer. The work was managed through Jira and tickets were assigned according to expertise and workload.

- Migrating older components from AngularJS to React
- Implementing new features as requested from stakeholders
- Writing tests for all added features
- Working closely with the deisgner to rollout new designs for older systems
- Investigating and handling any bugs found during testing.
